Welcome to my store, Fine Art by Christine!  I have been an artist since childhood, and for the past 20 years, have resided in Southern California.  I am an Internationally Collected Artist.  I am so proud that my paintings are being enjoyed in collections around the world.  I am a graduate of California State University, San Marcos, and I hold a Masters of Arts Degree.  I specialize in creating original, contemporary, texturized paintings.  All of my work is created using a palette knife with heavy, thick layers of the highest quality oils to give each painting a unique, rich, texturized look and feel.  I enjoy working the paint around with the knife to create something new and unique.  I love painting in this style because of the colors, depth and richness that is created in the layering of the paint.  You will notice tht I frequently use extremely high quality metallic oils on many of my paintings, which gives a stricking reflective quality to the paintings when displayed in either artificial or natural lighting.  I use only the very best metallic oil paint simply because I LOVE the way it looks.  I paint what pleases me, and in the style I enjoy!

All of my paintings are created on stretched, gallery wrapped 100% Duck canvas, with wood frames.  The edges are staple free and are painted, and so are gallery quality and are ready to hang.  No framing is needed.

All of my paintings are one of a kind ~ painted by me, and signed by me.  All of my works are registered with the National Fine Arts Title Registration.  My buyers receive a copy of the Certificate of Registration as well as instructions on how to transfer the ownership into their name with the Registry.  I also do commissioned pieces, so if you miss out on purchasing one of my paintings, email me and I can create a requested painting for you.  Keep in mind, however, that each painting is created by hand and no two pieces are identical.  That is what makes owning an original painting so special after all!
